This study is to investigate problems of teaching English listening skills by two survey questionnaires, one for 180 tenth-form students and the other for 7 teachers of English. Informal interviews are also carried out to elicit hidden reasons behind participants’ answers in the questionnaires and to Giúp the researcher draw a vivid picture of a listening lesson as well.
