CHAPTER I: GENERAL INTRODUCTION1.1. Introduction
In the economic development of all nations in the world, attention to the
energy issue in production and business and in the daily activities has always been paid. The natural energy sources have been exhausted due to the increasing demands for using energy and due to the excessive exploitation for the process of business development.
In this context, Vietnam as a developing country, also is facing up to the same
energy issues. The process of national industrialization and modernization depends much on the energy sources. Yet while energy solutions are being sought for alternatives such as the use of the solar energy, the use of the hydro wind power. Therefore, the enhancement of community awareness of economical and effective energy use has the important fignificance to manage the increasing demand.
With such idea, the Energy Information System (EIS) is developed for the
purpose to support the businesses and community in managing and economizing energy effectively

1.1.1. What purpose is the Energy Information Supporting System (EISS)
developed for?The Energy Information System (EIS) is developed for the main purpose to
support the businesses in meaning the use of energy effectively.
Enhancing the awareness of the community in the economical and effective use
of energy is to manage the increasing demands for energy, and also reduce the dependence on fossil energy, the waste gas of greenhouse and come to the sustainable development.
EIS is the confident address for the community and businesses to regularly visit
for reference to the models, solutions of economical and effective energy use.
EIS is the place for displaying, introducing the energy –saving tools and products.
1.1.2. Who does EISS serve for?
EISS directs to the two main groups of objects, that is Households and Businesses with the different demands:
