Tomb Raider là một dòng game khá lâu đời và nổi tiếng khi được đưa lên thế giới giải trí tương tác vào năm 1996 bởi Core Design và tiếp quản sau đó bởi Crystal Dynamics từ năm 2006 cho tới tận bây giờ. Trải qua quãng thời gian im hơi lặng tiếng trong khoảng 5 năm của dòng sản phẩm chính thống, nàng Lara Croft nay lại trở lại với phiên bản thứ 11 của mình trong năm 2013 này.

Tomb Raider 2013 lấy bối cảnh con tàu mang tên Endurance chở nữ nhân vật chính Lara Croft bị đánh chìm bởi một cơn bão khủng khiếp và đẩy cô cũng như những người sống sót còn lại lên một hòn đảo mang tên Dragon’s Triangle. Tại đây, Lara được đặt vào những thử thách tối cao trong việc sinh tồn như kiếm tìm thức ăn, nước uống, chống lại thú dữ và tìm tung tích những người sống sót còn lại. Nhưng trên tất cả, Lara không biết rằng hòn đảo còn nắm giữ những bí mật đen tối hơn với sự xuất hiện của những tay đánh thuê vô danh – những kẻ sẵn sàng kết liễu mọi sinh mạng xấu số vô tình chen chân lên Dragon’s Triangle.

Với một lối chơi tập trung vào mảng phiêu lưu hành động, Tomb Raider còn mạnh dạn kết hợp cùng với yếu tố nhập vai và trên tất cả là hệ thống kỹ năng sinh tồn trong một môi trường thế giới mở. Ở đó, người chơi có thể thực hiện những nhiệm vụ chính, phụ trải dài trên khắp bàn đồ, bên cạnh vô số các địa điểm, các lăng mộ đang chờ đợi để được khám phá. Theo giám đốc phụ trách thương hiệu toàn cầu của Crystal Dynamics – ông Karl Stewart, thì phần chơi cốt truyện của game sẽ giữ chân game thủ trong khoảng từ 12 cho tới 15 giờ - hé lộ sẽ đem tới một phần campaign khá chặt chẽ và không có điểm lặng trong quá trình trải nghiệm game.

Tomb Raider explores the intense and gritty origin story of Lara Croft

Features:

Smart / Resourceful Lara Lara must use her brawn and her brains to

overcome an impossible situation. The player must guide Lara through

physics puzzles, challenging environments, and a high-octane story to

overcome a harrowing situation and make it off of the island alive.

Combat - Tomb Raider is pushing the action genre forward with visceral

third-person combat and a deep weapon and gear upgrade system that Lara

will have to strategically employ to overcome increasingly difficult

enemies and environments, all with a unique Survival Action twist.

Dynamic Traversal it wouldnt be Tomb Raider without certain

signature elements. In addition to platforming, Lara will have to

explore large areas to earn experience points that will upgrade her

weapons and gear. One of the key elements of dynamic traversal is the

gear gating gameplay loop: over the course of the game, Lara will

continually improve her gear and will be able to reach previously

inaccessible locations that will allow her to upgrade her gear and

weapons even further.
