Nếu như Age of Empires là 1 tượng đài trong làng game chiến thuật, Need for Speed là gã lớn trong thể loại đua xe thì Assassin's Creed cũng rất xứng đáng với danh hiệu hoàng tử trong trường phái game hành động lén lút. Và với phiên bản Assassin's Creed 2, hình ảnh này tiếp tục được giữ vững. Rõ ràng, đây là 1 trong những sản phẩm thành công nhất của Ubisoft trong vài năm trở lại đây.
Có quá nhiều điểu để nói về Assassin's Creed 2, tựa game như 1 thiên sử thi bi tráng về cuộc đời của những sát thủ lạnh lùng và bí ẩn. Nếu như phần 1 là câu chuyện về chuyến du hành của Altair thì đến với phiên bản thứ 2 này, người chơi sẽ được đồng hành cùng 1 bậc thầy về ám sát với tên gọi mà chỉ cần nhắc đến, người người đã khiếp sợ: Ezio. Từ 1 đứa trẻ bình thường, trải qua sự trui rèn của bi kịch cuộc sống, Ezio tham gia vào Hội sát thủ như là định mệnh. Có lẽ, nếu như không có những biến cố xảy ra với gia đình anh, giờ này Ezio đang ngao du đâu đó với công việc buôn bán thường ngày. Có thể thấy, ngay ở cốt truyện, Ubisoft cũng đã đầu tư khá nhiều để tạo nên 1 “bộ phim” sâu sắc với diễn biến hợp lí cùng hàng loạt chi tiết “đánh” vào cảm xúc người chơi.
Nhưng đó không phải là tất cả những gì mà game thủ được đón nhận trong Assassin's Creed 2. Thật vậy, ngoài nội dung hấp dẫn, tựa game này còn mang đến 1 lối chơi lôi cuốn và sáng tạo. Rõ ràng, Ubisoft đã rất thành công khi tạo được những trải nghiệm hết sức chân thật và tuyệt vời dành cho người chơi. Được biết, ở phần 2 này, nhân vật chính-Ezio đã được “nâng cấp” khá nhiều tuyệt chiêu so với người tiền nhiệm, chẳng hạn: kỹ năng đánh lạc hướng bằng cách ném đồng xu, cải trang,…..Tất nhiên, tỉ lệ thuận với điều đó là sự cải tiến về AI. Giờ đây, mọi hành động khả nghi của bạn dù là nhỏ nhất đều sẽ bị kẻ thù để mắt đến. Vì vậy, đừng bao giờ lảng vảng quanh mục tiêu ám sát nếu chưa chuẩn bị kỹ. Nếu không, bạn sẽ bị cả 1 binh đoàn bao vây cho mà xem. Assassin's Creed 2 là 1 tựa game đề cao yếu tố hành động lén lút. Vì vậy, nếu có thể, hãy tận dụng tối đa “bóng tối” để hoàn thành nhiệm vụ 1 cách nhanh và hiệu quả.
Về đồ họa, Assassin's Creed 2 không có nhiều thay đổi so với phần trước khi Ubisoft vẫn trung thành với phong cách thiết kễ cũ. Tuy vậy, giờ đây, trong game, mọi thứ đều trở nên lạ lẫm và đẹp mắt hơn khi người chơi được du hành đến đất nước hình chiếc ủng với thành Rome xinh đẹp và đầy mơ mộng. Bên cạnh đó, hình ảnh nhân vật cũng được xây dựng lại, góp phần vào thành công của trò chơi.
Tóm lại, Assassin's Creed 2 thật sự là 1 tựa game hay mà bạn không nên bỏ qua. Những trải nghiệm mà trò chơi này mang lại chắc chắn sẽ rất khác biệt.
